Ok so while we are at it. Here are the Many Faces of Michael in our anniversary weekend pictures. Now you know why it takes so many times to get a good picture with him! He never stops goofing off!!

This August 22nd, Mike and I celebrated our first year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it has been a year already! We headed out to St. Pete beach for some low key relaxing and tropical drinks. (Not to mention some hot rock massages!) We forgot beach towels so we stopped by the souvenir shop to grab some. Mike walked right to the hat rack and put this on. I about DIED!  I couldn't believe how different he looked!So...of course he bought it, and proceeded to wear it around the hotel. It was so believable that my parents didn't even recognize him walking towards them! All he was missing was a Natty Ice and a speedo! Yep.....thats my PURTY husband =)

Star "Bangled"Banner

About a week ago Mike and  I were discussing something sports related (believe it or not) and we got on the topic of The Star Spangled Banner. Once again, Michael SWEARS his whole life he thought it was called the Star Bangled Banner..."SWEAR TO GOD," he says. Which to me means he is serious. I of course thought this was hilarious, and asked him to sing his version for me. Little did he know, I hit the record button and got it all on video. I told him he shouldn't quit his day job!

BOO!

Hey guys! Sorry I have been slackin lately. Things have been pretty busy round here, and I was having issues getting video from my phone to my email account so that I could do some updating. But now worries now...problem solved! So..... that just means I have some catching up to do! So be on the look out for some posts. I wanted to post my most recent video first, since I think its pretty funny. But first....a little background.

Mike has this thing about scaring people. He just LOVES to hide around dark corners and jump out when I walk by, or bang on the bedroom window when he lets the dog out at night. But his favorite is to scare me when I am in the shower. I.....FREAKING.....HATE....being scared!!!!! So I flip out on him every time. I finally figure out that it would be better to shut my mouth and do everything I can to scare HIM when he least expects it. So yesterday I came home from work and he was in the shower (cue evil laugh.) The start of the video is dark because it took me a few minutes to realize he wasn't going to come out of the bathroom because he was actually taking a shower.( So just fast forward to about 1:25) Enjoy Mike getting a taste of his own medicine!


OH! and PS....sorry the video is sideways! Can't figure out how to turn it yet.....

"Battling"

Yesterday we went to see Step-UP 3D, which was frickin AWESOME! I of course am obsessed with ANY dance movie since I was a dancer most of my life, and as far as Mike goes, well, he is just obsessed with movies of any kind. Mike came home today and said that he was "battling" some of the kids at work and that he obviously ROCKED it. I asked him to show me exactly what he was talking about. Apparently, this is his interpretation of "battling."

Soooo, one of the things my husband LOVES to do that can drive me up a wall is SING about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that he encounters in his every day life. From mail and work, to me grumping about something, he finds the need to make up a song. He also loves to make up words to every day songs. Well, I say make up, but if you ask him, he believes he has been singing the correct words his whole life. (Next time you see him ask him to sing ANY Christmas song and you will know what I am talking about.) Last night, I caught him singing in the shower which is usually where he really lets his singing voice show. (remember.....he has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA I am recording this.....) You be the judge on his singing capabilities....Enjoy =)

Why??

Hey all!! Welcome to my blog! I decided to start this blog after our roomate Kim made a smart alec comment to my husband last night about blogging about life with him. If you know my husband you know he is an interesting character to say the least. People always ask me how I do it. Truth is, we are two peas in a pod and life in our household is full of plenty of laughter. Throw in a roomate and four animals into the mix...and things get pretty interesting around here. I hope you share in our sense of humor!!
